I had the pleasure of working under Dr. Michele Lemons, a neuroscientist and professor at Assumption University. This experience provided me with great hands-on lab experience and taught me how things work in the lab day to day. I also will be able to present my findings to the rest of the school and take pride in the work I have accomplished. Finally, this experience has provided me with many useful connections beyond Assumption including at UMass Medical School that will help me as I strive towards my ultimate goal of becoming a doctor.
